It Appears To Be A Normal Apartment, But When You Push The Button… NO WAY!

LifeBuzz I Design & Architecture

This is a prototype of the apartment. Some of the features are an emerging dining room, all from the touch of a button.

The homes of the future are just around the corner. The concept of a house where things are moved and changed at the touch of a button is no longer just something out of a science fiction movie. Looking to address the lack of space in large urban areas, a new design of compact apartments has been designed by YO! Home.

Some of the features in the home will be tall wardrobes that open up to a kitchen with all of its appliances. The bedroom drops from the ceiling while the dining table emerges from the floor. Additionally, storage space is found under the floor. The futuristic flats are going to retail around $235,415.00 with its first city being in Manchester, United Kingdom. The company hopes to eventually have these homes all over the world.

The dining room table retreats back into the floor. A king-sized bed is above the living room.

Sensors keep the home safe. You can see part of the sofa below the bed.

The TV lowers from the ceiling while the floor-to-ceiling closets provide a lot of storage space.

The bed is tucked in the ceiling. The design can be changed based on clients' requests.

The bedroom is open and spacious. A very modern and cozy design.

Open one of the floor-to-ceiling closets and the kitchen appears.

The kitchen features a fully-functioning stove, sink, oven, and even a dishwasher.

The dining section seats four people.

A clutter-free home is possible with extra storage space.

The exterior of the apartment.

The large window gives a lot of natural light.

The sofa sectional is a large area for gathering. The bed and the dining table are tucked away, making the most of floor space.

An attached bathroom with all the standard features without feeling cramped.
