In Finland, every pregnant woman gets a special gift called the Maternity Box. Reddit user GrumyFinn posted photos of her box when she picked it up from the post office.

Even her cat was excited about the package.

There’s a brand new snow suit, hat, mittens, and a warm body suit.

A sleeping bag and sheet.

There’s also hats, balaclava, pads, socks, tights, and the small bag has a little book, a toy, condoms, and some other small baby hygiene products.

There’s a cloth diaper, and a towel, and high quality Finnish made clothing in various styles, all gender-neutral. The bottom of the box is also a mattress so it can be used as a bed for the baby in the first month of her life.
